Lately lots of females have been wanting to mimic the styles of all the “Instagram baddies” they see up and down their timelines. The problem with this is it’s not the most affordable thing to do. Most of these Insta baddies rock designer clothes, shoes, and handbags, beat their faces with the most high end makeup, and have the most snatched bodies, but you don’t need any of that to be a baddie. Just follow these tips.

Have A Good Attitude

You could be the most beautiful person in the world, but if you have a nasty attitude you’ll still be unattractive.  Always have a positive attitude and it will draw in positive people and positive energy.

Be Confident

Wearing nice clothes and having nice things don’t mean anything if you don’t feel good when you’re wearing them. Be confident in the skin you’re in and do things that make you feel good about yourself.

Go Thrifting

On top of being a fun activity to do in your spare time, it saves you a ton of money. If you look hard enough, you can find some really nice things. You can then pair some of these “new” clothes with clothes you already have or even upcycle them.

Upcycle Your Clothes

Instead of throwing away clothes you don’t wear anymore, upcycle them and make something new out of them. You can cut old jeans into shorts, big shirts or hoodies into crop tops, or even dye something a new color. You’re basically getting new clothes for free without even leaving the house.

Buy Makeup Dupes

If you’re into wearing makeup and beating your face, you know it can be a bit pricey. Instead of buying all that expensive, high end makeup, buy dupes and drugstore makeup. There’s absolutely no reason to spend all your money on makeup when the dupes work almost exactly the same, sometimes better, for a fraction of the price.

Do Your Own Nails & Eyebrows

As great as it is to go to the nail salon to get your nails and eyebrows done every few weeks, that money you spend adds up. You can find videos all over YouTube teaching you how to do these things from home which saves you a ton of money. All you have to do is buy all the materials which can all be found at Walgreens, Walmart, or Target.

Shop At Inexpensive Stores

Spending lots of money on clothes doesn’t mean they look good. You can shop at places that aren’t harsh on your pockets and still find nice clothes. Stores like Rue21, Forever 21, Ross, Rainbow, and many others have clothes that look nice along with being super affordable.

DIY Instead Of Buy

It’s pretty pointless to spend money on things when you can just make them yourself. If you want to recreate a shirt you saw, a phone case, or maybe even the Fenty body lava that’s waaay too expensive, doing it yourself is they way to go. You’re not only saving money, but you’re giving yourself a fun activity to do.

Use Coupon Codes, Promo Codes, & Sign Up For Memberships

Memberships give you a percentage off of in-store and online purchases and you can sometimes even receive free gifts on your birthday. Coupon and promo codes, obviously, do pretty much the same thing. You can find coupon codes and promo codes online on Groupon, where new coupons are added regularly. Who wants to spend more money than they have to when they can get discounts?

Slay Your Own Hair

There is no need to spend hundreds on bundles and installation when you can do all that yourself. There are videos all over YouTube showing you how to install weave yourself and make synthetic wigs look like bomb. You can rock your natural hair, too. There are so many protective styles to rock that look cute and help your hair stay protected, healthy, and growing.

While following all these tips, keep in mind that you should have your own style. Don’t steal someone else’s swag. Use things from other people’s style to help inspire your own and rock it. Be confident and rock whatever you decide to wear while keeping a great attitude and you’ll be a baddie in no time.
