According to WhoWhatWear, Liya Kebede is the first black model to grace the cover of Vogue Paris in 5 years. In 2012, Jourdan Dunn was the first black woman to cover Vogue UK in 12 years. On the cover, Kebede wears a Dior gown. She succeeds 2010 cover star Rose Codero.

Let’s hope this will lead to readers seeing more women of color in and on these magazines.
