Camouflage came in to the fashion scene as early as 1943. Vogue magazine was the first to take camo from the battlefield to the runway.

Camouflage is by far one of my favorite patterns to wear in the fall. It may seem like camo has too much going on, but to be honest it is probably one of the most versatile patterns ever!

All of my camouflage pieces were purchased at the thrift store. Most camo pieces you find at an actual clothing store fit tighter than what I would like and I feel as though you can only wear it in one way. Thrifted camo is more wearable to me because most of the pieces have drawstrings you can use to adjust the fit.

Here are some tips on how to wear your camo!

  1. Camo and color- You will give your camo pieces an edgier look by pairing it with brighter colors!

3.Camo and fitted dresses-  Camo may not be the most feminine pattern, but when you wear a fitted dress underneath your look will become sensual.

6. Layer your camo-  Layer up your camo with hoodies, sweatshirts, and sweaters. This will give you an urban look.

I am a 25 year old from 219, Indiana. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
