New York Fashion week is currently taking place and I know all the top designers are debuting their breathe taking 2017 looks.  I want to take this chance to honor those who may be our future in fashion industry.

I have worked in several retail stores, and I meet some of the most amazing people with even more amazing talents. One person in particular is a young woman named Shaunice, whom I had the pleasure working with when I lived in St. Louis.

She is 21-year-old model and designer.  She has quite the portfolio when it comes to modeling. She has a runway walk that would put Naomi Campbell to shame. Outside of her print and runway work, she is a killer designer. I have never witnessed anybody create things the way she does. She is very versatile when it comes to her designs. From casual two-piece sets to prom dresses, Shaunice can pretty much make ANYTHING. I have witnessed her talents behind the scenes and there is not one item that she has made that I have not liked. To be so young and be able to design on the levels of high fashion designers is amazing. Her business may be new, but she has the St. Louis area on its knees. She recently showcased her designs on a big production runway and debuted her business name…VANITY SQUARE.  Look out for this designer in the making!

I am a 24 year old from 219, Indiana. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
