Hey Y’all,

So earlier today, Drake dropped an official version of his 2010 track “You Know You Know.” Not a new song of course, but since the song was never officially released, only hardcore Drake fans, such as yours truly, know about it, so I thought I’d share it here with y’all.

This song was set to be on Drake’s 2010 debut album¬†“Thank Me Later”, but it didn’t make the cut. Honestly, I’m glad it didn’t make the cut for that album, it shouldn’t have made the cut for anything, this song is just too much.

Produced by Kanye West, it features a muted vocal sample of a lady repeating “You Know, You Know” and a it has a frantic beat that’s got a lot going on. I can see what Kanye was trying to do on this track with the whole futuristic vibe, but he over did it. The song is just too busy.

Drake’s verse on the song is okay, it’s not his best, I hear some good lines in the song, but the beat is so messy that you can’t even focus on what he’s saying.

Definitely a miss to me, what you think?
