Her story is a modern day, coming of age, rose from concrete story of finding purpose and defying odds; infused with hope, comedy and inspiration.

“Dreams Bigger Than Texas: A Story of Purpose, Persistence and Growth into Womanhood is an incredible autobiographical story of a young woman coming of age, overcoming adversities, her strive towards success, faith, purpose and growth into womanhood. It’s revealing, relatable, flat out juicy and inspiring… Dreams Bigger Than Texas is a hood story, a love story, a story of hope, tenacity and strength.

With a mix of spoken word performances from her former student Toni Mono Flow and Christopher Lemark, DBTT release event set the standard for whats to come. After greeting guests and book signing, Shelton read excerpts from DBTT and encouraged the crowd to read the Chapter preview board scattered throughout the venue. In 2 hours DBTT book sold out, along with fans and family photo opts.
