ENTER TO WIN! #GAMECHANGERS VIDEO CONTEST

True Star and the Chicago White Sox invite students to honor current or past African American baseball players. Submit a video that celebrates these men and their contributions on and off the field. Each entry will be reviewed by six-time All-Star and White Sox great Harold Baines as well as the White Sox front office.

Videos should be (2) two minutes or less and can be submitted individually or in groups of 2-3 students. Contest is open to students in grades 6-12 in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.

 

Here is what you do…
1) Select a African-American baseball player past or current
2) Create a 2 minute or less video honoring and celebrating the player.  The video can be an original poem, essay, or speech read aloud.  You can also mix your video with images, sounds, and video.
3)  Submit your video in mp4 format.
4)  Email video to contest@truestarmagazine.com include your name, age, school, and phone number.

 

The winning video will receive:
  • On-field recognition and four (4) tickets for a 2017 White Sox game
  • Video played in Guaranteed Rate Field during a 2017 White Sox game
  • White Sox prize pack
