Just last month Beyoncé graced the world with her Lemonade album, leaving many listeners to wonder about what exactly those lyrics about their marriage meant and if he may have cheated on the pop superstar.

The allegations got intense thanks to Sorry, a defiant non-apology to a partner whose lyrics stated

“… Looking at my watch he should’ve been home/ Today I regret the night I put that ring on/ He always got them fucking excuses/ I pray to the lord you reveal what his truth is

And ended with a bit of shade that had us wondering who ‘Becky with the good hair is’:

“…I see them boppers in the corner/ They sneaking out the back door
He only want me when I’m not there/ He better call becky with the good hair…”

May 24, marked a special day for the hip hop game as Jay-Z broke his silence on the rumors and joined forces with Fat Joe and Remy Ma on the remix to one of the hottest rap joints of the year, “All the Way Up”.

The album reference comes right at the start of Hov’s explosive verse, before he goes on to rap about Tupac, daughter Blue Ivy and his 21 Grammy Awards:

“You know you made it when the fact/ Your marriage made it is worth millions.

Lemonade is a popular drink, and it still is/ Survival of the littest.”

The decision to record the remix was seemingly made at Beyonce’s recent Formation Tour pit stop in Los Angeles, where Joey and Jigga shared an Instagram moment complete with the song used as the caption hashtag.
