These last couple weeks have been extremely BUSY. I took my last final today and I was so excited to finally have a break, but then I realized that I have not purchased one Christmas gift! I made a list of people that I needed to get gifts for and I ran out to the mall, but I could not bring myself to buy anything. I was so confused and could not make any decisions on what to buy. I was so upset at myself for waiting until the last minute to buy gifts. The crowd at the mall doesn’t make it any better and who wants to go online and pay for express shipping? (not me) Also, when am I going to find the time to wrap all these gifts? I was in the middle of a nervous break down when I thought…Gift Cards. Gift cards are super easy, but so many people don’t like them because it takes away the enjoyment and heart warming feeling you get when you open up a gift that was well thought out. Well I think the opposite. I love giving people things that they will actually use. I hate for gifts to just sit around and for them to just be used SOMETIMES.

You have to think outside of the box when you are purchasing gift cards. Here are a few suggestions as to where you should purchase gift cards.

Spa/Massage Gift Cards

Everyone loves a good day of relaxation, especially after a long year of working hard! This is a gift card that someone will be eager to use.

Restaurant Gift Cards

Why not give the person you love a free meal? They may have a night that they don’t want to cook, but don’t want spend their own money.

Clothing Store Gift Cards

I mean come on…who doesn’t like a shopping spree. Find out where they love to shop and I promise you that gift card will be used in no time.

Coffee Shop Gift Cards

If your love one woks a 9-5, they will love you forever for giving them a weeks supply of hot coffee.

Leisure Gift Cards

Any break away from work is awesome. Purchase your loved ones gift cards from places like the museums, theaters, etc. This will give them something to look forward to.

Well fashionistas, I have A LOT of gift cards to buy. HAPPY SHOPPING!

I am a 25 year old from 219, Indiana. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
