Who says that only little kids like dolls? In honor of the recent International Women’s Day, Mattel released a new line of Barbie dolls inspired by ladies that have made history. The dolls are part of the Shero collection. Lisa Knight, the general manager of Barbie, says “Barbie will be honoring its largest lineup of role models timed to International Women’s Day, because we know that you can’t be what you can’t see.”

These legendary women include boxer Nicola Adams Obe, pilot Amelia Earhart, artist Frida Kahlo, mathematician Katherine Johnson and 10 more history makers. Each doll also comes with an informational packet about that influential woman.

Thank you Barbie for making these dolls so that children of all ages can learn and broaden their own dreams. To find out more about the Shero collection visit the Mattel site.
