Y’all!!! We might have a new R&B crooner with a touch of the streets to add to our catalogs, something like our friend August Alsina.

Tory Lanez’s song ‘Say It’ is a smooth song with a nice chill beat. It samples the song, “If You Love Me” by Brownstone. I like Tory’s voice, it’s relaxing almost. Tory Lanez, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, director, and fashion designer from Brampton, Ontario (Canada is having quite a moment especially with their current Holy Trinity: Drake, Weeknd, and Justin Beiber.)

This song reminds me of the Omarion song ‘You Like It,’ with the way Tory is sing/talking and the 90s song sample.
I must admit this isn’t my favorite, but I can definitely vibe to it, can you?

The music video isn’t anything spectacular, it’s simple, but I think it’s exactly what we’d expect to go along with this song.

If you like it, and what to hear more his debut album is set to be released in 2016. Until then, Tory does have a couple of EPs to let you get more of a taste of him: Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story (2013) Lost Cause (2014) and Cruel Intentions (2015)
