If you haven’t seen it already, please know that Spider-Man Homecoming has completely gone above and beyond in any and all of its expectations. I could watch that movie a thousand times, still laugh and never look away. Tom Holland plays Spider-Man better than Tobey Maguire ever could. This film gives you a new shocker at every corner and watching the other movies will never be enough to prepare for what is coming.

The story starts off with an upbeat tone. After battling with some of the Avengers, Peter Parker is hyped and that fact pushes the entire plot forward. His “internship” with Iron Man takes up most of his time and priority. After stealing Captain America’s shield Spider-Man is ready to help people whenever he can, but he’ll have to help himself first. Stuck between constantly letting down the ones he cares for the most or his enticing vigilante justice, Peter has to make a choice, his happiness or his family and friends.

All aspects of this film are on point. The cameras caught all the right angles and writers created all the right words. The director and the actors have worked together to make realistic characters and the story flows and needs no explanation if you know even a few things about the Marvel universe. Some dated references will have you surprised, excited and loving this movie. If you are interested in any aspects of movies, especially watching them you will love this version of our “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.”

Now trust me, what I’m about to say in no way gives away the plot of this movie, but I am just trying to give you a little heads up so you won’t go crazy looking for the answers after the movie. A little something to look forward to, there seems to be a huge reveal about Zendaya’s character at the end of the movie. It is in fact a set up. I know that I got so excited and a little confused, but Marvel President, Kevin Feige, has made it clear that this big reveal was just paying homage to the old Marvel classics. Make sure you look out for this confusing line and pay attention to the reactions around you because I promise they will be hilarious.
