I haven’t done this in a while… when I find a song I really like, I play it non stop until I’m tired of it. I never care of how old the song is. For the past couple weeks these 5 songs I have been listening to faithfully and definition make it into my morning walk to the train playlist

      1. Love- Dean ft Syd

I was listening to some random pre-made Apple Music playlist, I don’t even remember which one it was, and this song came on and it caught my attention because it was interesting. It’s fresh and like nothing else on the radio. I feel like I’ve discovered a new really cool artist and it’s exciting!

  2. Motorsport- Migos ft Cardi B & Nicki Minaj

Y’all of course know this song. Not only do I love it, because it’s clearly a hit, but because Nicki and Cardi are united! I always hoped the two would hop on a song together but I had no idea it would be this soon. Both ladies gave standout verses and I’m going to push it and say I want more.

      3. Two Birds, One Stone – Drake

It wouldn’t be me if my fav wasn’t in my favorite songs playlist. I must have missed the release of this song. It seems to have come out around More Life, but didn’t make it on to the album. Nevertheless, I love it. The beat is crazy and Drake talking crazy. He giving us Take Care era tease on this track and I love a lil cocky Drake every now and then. This song is punch line after punch line!

  4. Stunting Ain’t Nuthin- Gucci Mane feat  Slim Jxmmi & Young Dolph

I really needed a song like this. I’ll be honest, I’m too young to have appreciated Gucci in his prime, so I’m not going to act like I’m the biggest Guwop fan and was rushing to hear his new album, but when I heard this song, I loved it instantly. This is that track that is hard for me to listen to walking around when there is lots of people because I barely can contain myself.

I really like this song because of the beat and when you actaully think of what he’s saying in the song, it’s pretty funny. Not to mention, 6LACK as an artist really gets my attention because I feel like he’s picking up where Bryston Tiller left off.

BONUS: Nothing Is Stopping You- Big Sean

Big Sean is definitely one of my favorite artists. He always got something for me so when this song came on my Pandora, I didn’t hit skip right away. Although the song is from his 2013 album, Hall of Fame, I had never heard it because that was before I became a fan. When I was listening, I wasn’t really in the mood to discover new music, but what kept me listening is that Sean was actually telling a story about himself I didn’t know. I love when rappers tell stories and this song is kind of like Sean’s come up story but also includes how he helped another artist come up. Y’all should listen.
