I don’t think anyone knows how much I love this album. Like bro. My dad spoils me so much that this year for my birthday he just gave me a basket and in the basket were a few CDs. Of the bunch was Tha Carter III. Yes I cried real tears.

Let me tell you why this album is and will always be my favorite:

  1. It was the first album I ever listened to fully by myself.
  2. Both my parents blasted it.
  3. It was one of the great musical achievements I was alive to witness and remember as far as sales.
  4. It was the first album that showed me what a versatile artist looked like.
  5. I can still bump a few tracks (i.e. A Milli, Mrs. Officer….) on aux and not get my aux privilege revoked.

The list can go on, but Wayne really did it with this one y’all. From “Let The Beat Build” to “Comfortable” ft. Babyface, this is legendary work.
